Embarcadero Automotive customers, Art Patrons, and just plain folk enjoyed an eclectic evening at GarageGallery's Salon #2 held on Thursday, August 17; This second event held by GarageGallery was a major hit, attracting a large crowd of over 300 people.

The event, curated by Bram Goodwin, held in the magnificent brick and skylit Embarcadero Automotive building at 655 Bryant St featured among others, visual artists Suzun Hughes, Warren Travis, and Flicka McGurrin, poets Walker Brents,Jerry Ferraz, and Victoria Sanchez and the Bird & Beckett All-Star Jazz Band.

People and dogs had a fun night as they browsed among new visual art, bopped to Jazz music, and of course indulged in food and drink while sitting in a SAAB automobile.

In addition, they drank and learned about wines produced by L Uvaggio di Giacomo and poured by Mel Knox and Jim Moore.

GarageGallery was created by Peter MacLaird, co-owner of Embarcadero Automotive, which has sold and repaired SAAB automobiles for 30 years. An avid art collector, Peter has displayed various artists’ artwork at each of Embarcadero Automotive's previous three facilities. With the acquisition of the Bryant St. building, he has launched a full-time gallery, sharing space with Embarcadero Automotive's Sales Department.
