Please bring your SAAB in for service and see the new digs. It is within a few blocks of Market St., a Barry Bonds "splash hit" from Pac Bell Park, and within walking distance of MOMA, where you can take in world class art, while Dr. Mike tunes your car for the summer driving season.

The new location of EA is something to see. The outside, which faces Bryant St. is made of bricks, part of a tradition when these buildings were being used in the old days as printing plants, and machine shops.

When you come down Bryant St, which is one-way to the East, get in the right lane by time you reach 5th St. and take a right about mid block into Embarcadero. You will pull up to the check in-station manned by Mike and Mike.

Unlike Sansome St., everything is on one floor. You will not hear Dr Mike over the PA saying, "Vernon, Vernon, call me on the intercom". Instead you will see him pacing from one auto repair station to the next, calmly discussing the fine points of SAAB auto repair.

You will also notice the blue lifts that line each side, that will raise your SAAB up so that Vernon or La or Johnny can work on them. The ceilings are very high, with beautiful skylights allowing beautiful S.F. light to envelope the whole area.

Some things have not changed. The espresso machine has a place of honor in the new lunch room, using the same high grade beans from Café Trieste. Vernon and Robert can be seen playing chess during lunch time. Peter can still be found charming various women who bring their SAAB to the shop. Mark is still playing 60's rock in the sales department. Dr. Mike is still diagnosing the most difficult repair problems. and Mike is still the voice of reason.
