Robert's Ribs

Robert has many talents, cooking among them; We the workers at Embarcadero Automotive are the lucky ones, who get to try his various culinary delights.

Here is his famous Robert's Rib Recipe:

  1. Start with 3 slabs of Pork Ribs, about 2lb per slab.
  2. Heavy Dry Rub ribs with seasoning salt, pepper, and garlic powder; Put ribs in refrigerator for 1 hr.
  3. After coals are hot, put ribs on barbeque for 15-20 minutes until both sides are brown;
  4. Take ribs from direct heat, and put them on the upper grill, at least 6 inches from direct heat, so the ribs are getting heat, but not directly; Close lid.
  5. Cook for 1 hr, turning ribs frequently as not to overcook any side.
  6. After 1 hr, glaze each side with your favorite barbeque sauce; Cook an additional 45 minutes, glazing and turning frequently.
  7. After cooking 1hr 45 minutes, take off grill, and cool for 15 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
